In September of 1999 Sharon Moody rescued a 6-week-old kitten from under a mobile home. As soon as the kitten was picked up she began to purr, and in that moment, she became Purr Baby Moody.
Purr Baby lived with her new Mama and Daddy, Sharon and Bill Moody of Fairview, NC for the next 18 years. She continued to purr and purr every time she was handled. Some quiet nights seemed filled with contented purring from beautiful Purr Baby.
Purr Baby passed away on October 22th in her Mama’s arms…still purring into her last breath. She is survived by her 16-year-old Dachshund sister Lacey, 3-year-old Dachshund brother Chester, and her loving parents Sharon and Bill Moody. She will be loved and greatly missed by the Moody’s.
