Adorable little Rugby Padilla was abandoned on a busy road side when he was a tiny puppy. His mommy-to-be, Kathy Padilla, spent hours in the grass as cars flew past just the win his trust. From that time on, they were family. Rugby loved car and boat rides, playing, and everything fun. He even worked as a happy greeter in his mother’s business!
Rugby passed away unexpectedly on May 20th. In Kathy’s words:
“My baby boy brought love and joy to all my days and nights. His touches and kisses kept me alive every day. His eyes could search my mind, heart and soul. Rugby was my safe side to life. My baby boy you will be forever missed.
Love Mommy”
Kathy, what a beautiful tribute to Rugby. May you find comfort in the knowledge that he knew how much you love him.
Kathy, you gave Rugby a beautiful life he wouldn’t have other wise had. You saved him from a certain death and took him in showing him love and total commitment. He was blessed to have you and Carlos just as you were both blessed to have him. It is heart breaking to realize he is gone but I do believe he is in Heaven and will run to meet you one day.
