Ragnar

January 14, 2017

Born in December of 2004, Ragnar was an especially devoted and sensitive cat. He greeted his human at the door every day and watched over him when he was sick. Intuitive, gentle and outgoing, Ragnar loved people and filled the house with chirps, grunts and meows.  His huge personality and even bigger heart will be missed by one surviving cat, Dagny, and of course, his human Phil McCanless. Ragnar passed over to the Rainbow Bridge on January the 14th.

Dear Phil,

When a cat chooses you to be their soulmate, they create a bond that nothing can ever break.

I understand your pain and your deep sense of loss…but Ragnar is where he should be now. And the connection you shared is as alive today as it was every day he was with you.

Ragnar will always be part of you because of the love you gave him.

Hugs from Liz and Eddie

I’m so sorry for your loss..these wonderful, amazing fluffy gray beings bring such joy and love to our worlds, I can’t imagine what it must be like to have to say good bye to one of them…your description of Ragnar seems very similar to my boy Bootstrap..he too waits at the door for me every day when I come home from work..and seems to somehow know when I need a little extra attention or affection…you have my most sincere condolences. May your heart heal. Keep your memories of Ragnar close to your heart.

Ragnar- cross that bridge proudly. You were an honor to your breed and you leave behind a hole that will never be filled, never forgotten. Your family will keep you alive with their memories and your spirit will always be with them. Phil & Dagny, I am so sorry for the loss of your lovely companion. ❤️

Knew from the first second I saw his eyes that Ragnar was exceptional, extraordinary and that his like should not perish if my guardian could intervene, so I asked him to and he did his best.
