Fully grown, Laya was a smidgen of a little girl, but she was smaller than tiny when her mommy Cynthia Daye first saw her at five weeks old. The precious puppy was all brown with a white spot on her chest. It was instant love when Laya became a member of the Daye family.
Laya passed away on May 18th at the age of ten years old. She is survived by her people-mom, Cynthia, and puppy-sister, Minnie. Cynthia says it best:
“She was such a joy. My sweet little princess is now with her sister Mia tearing up all their toys together. Minnie and I will miss her greatly. We love you sweet baby. We will see you at the Golden Bridge.”
Dear Cindy,
Laya had the best Mom a dog could hope for in Life. She loved you as much as you loved her. Be comforted knowing that she’s running free in Heaven, without pain, with her doggie sister. I wish you peace and healing and that some day the deep sadness will be replaced with joyous memories and smiles. I love you sis!
